Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 27, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how WisyLink collects, uses, stores, and protects data when you use our website, account console, API, and link hosting services.

2. Data We Collect

We process data in these categories:

  • Account and identity data, including name, email address, sign-in method, and profile fields.
  • Security and authentication data, including session records, verification data, and anti-abuse logs.
  • Workspace configuration data, including subdomain/domain configuration and deployment status.
  • Link metadata, including hosting status, timestamps, and usage metrics.
  • Technical usage data, including request metadata and operational logs needed for reliability and security.

3. How We Use Data

We use personal and service data to:

  • Create and maintain user accounts and sessions.
  • Provide link hosting, link management, and content delivery features.
  • Enforce product policies, usage limits, and abuse prevention controls.
  • Operate billing or credit-based product logic where applicable.
  • Improve platform quality, reliability, and support operations.

4. Public Link Visibility

When you publish a link, its address becomes publicly resolvable by design. Content you publish there may be accessible by anyone who has the link. Do not publish private or regulated information unless you have applied your own access controls and compliance review.

5. AI and Automated Processing

WisyLink relies on artificial intelligence to build and host what you create. The prompts, instructions, and reference files you provide are processed by our systems and by trusted AI service providers only to generate, deliver, and operate the output you request. We do not sell this content, and we share it with providers only under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

Because AI output is generated automatically, please avoid including sensitive personal data in prompts unless it is necessary, and review generated output before you publish it.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with trusted service partners (such as communications, analytics, and security support) that help us operate WisyLink under contractual and security obligations.

7. Retention and Deletion

We retain data for as long as required to deliver the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce terms. Retention periods vary by data type, account state, and security needs. Some records may remain in backups for a limited period.

Account deletion. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the web account console or the mobile Account tab. Once confirmed, the deletion is irreversible and we remove:

  • Your user account and profile data (name, email, bio, preferences, avatar).
  • All links you created, including generated outputs and any hosted content.
  • All reference files you uploaded and derivatives produced from them.
  • API keys, active sessions, and authentication artefacts linked to your account.
  • Workspace configuration tied to your account (subdomain/domain settings, membership record, credit balance, auto top-up state).

Limited billing and payment records may be retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law; all other financial metadata is removed. Residual copies may persist in our backups for a short window before being overwritten in the normal backup lifecycle.

To prevent abuse, the email address associated with the deleted account is temporarily blocked from re-registration for thirty days. Contact support if you need to re-register the same email before that window ends.

8. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect platform data, including access controls, credential protections, transport security, and monitoring, and we work to respond quickly to any incident. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we use reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or unauthorized access that results from factors outside our reasonable control.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, update, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office). You can also request account closure and data review through support.

10. Children

WisyLink is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as features, legal requirements, or operational practices evolve. Material updates are reflected by a revised effective date on this page.
